The 5.37 Release brings a host of exciting updates that you won’t want to miss! We’ve introduced new functionalities in Patient Tracker, made user-friendly improvements to Batch Statements, and enhanced various capabilities across modules to amplify your practice’s efficiency. Major highlights include the launch of the new Notifications feature and the redesigned Online Appointment Portal, both crafted to provide a refined experience with notable benefits. Additionally, we’re excited to unveil new metrics in the Daily Worklist, along with other valuable features.

1. Patient Tracker
Introducing the enhanced Patient Tracker equipped with newer capabilities, including the ability to configure filter views and notification settings.
1. Utilize Filter Views Settings to set custom filters by view, allowing you to categorize and easily navigate through appointment statuses.
2. Set up Audio Notifications according to your preferences via Tracker Notification Settings.
2. Practice Settings
a. Stay updated of any additional charges that may be incurred, as indicated by the notification banner while configuring Operatory Settings.
b. Introducing a warning pop-up in practice settings for deactivating Production Types. When deactivated, an ‘inactive’ label will appear next to the production type for better clarity.
3. Scheduler
a. An information indicator has been included in the Cancellation Codes modal to clarify its purpose and provide guidance on how to set it up for optimal use.
b. Explore the latest update to the Find New Time and Reschedule Now buttons. Make use of the system’s ability to cancel the current appointment and allow the user to search for a new time slot or reschedule it.
c. Practices can use the new Compact View to see more hours on the scheduler, providing a clearer and more detailed overview of appointments and availability.
d. The Red Line is now sleeker for improved appointment tile visibility. Additionally, the gray background on the scheduler page has been darkened to render time slots more visible.
4. Print
Introducing the Black & White printing option: when selected, only the borders of the appointment will be printed, with all block slots appearing as dotted lines.
1. Treatment Planner
a. Achieve greater flexibility and control over modifying the Code Status of a completed treatment code to a different procedure code status.
b. The Code Status Change confirmation modal will alert the user if the code is linked to a Payment Plan or Statement upon reversing its status.
2. Practice Settings
a. The Procedure Code and Production Type are now integrated into the Recall Type modal for seamless configuration.
b. The Confirm Delete pop-up while deleting an existing recall now informs users of the number of patients associated with the recall. Additionally, the inclusion of two new actions: Retain Existing Recalls and Remove All Recalls will offer more options for managing recalls.
3. Cases
The Launch Xchart hyperlink is now available only for Scheduled appointments linked to a clinical case. This option will no longer be available for Cancelled appointments.

a. Added the ability to view Applied Patient Payments and Applied Insurance Payments on the left side of the Payment Slider. (This feature is exclusive to CareFlow.)
b. Utilize the new modal when you click Apply Credits from the Payment slider, to prioritize treatment codes by Oldest First or Newest First.

4. Payment Plan Control Center
a. You can now view Completed/Terminated Plans separately from Active Payment Plans on distinct tabs, each with its own KPIs.
b. Easily identify the skipped installment on the Revised Amortization Schedule when you attempt to skip a payment plan installment.
5. Claims
Make use of the new option: Recommend Primary Claim EOB Attachments to secondary claims wherein users can exclude carriers based on their preference.
6. Pre-Authorizations
Introducing new Status Codes and Statuses as clearinghouse Pre-Auth responses for improved clarity. The new statuses include Acknowledged (Payor) and Finalized (Payor).
1. Daily Worklist
a. In addition to new metrics, the Daily Worklist now includes a functionality that lets you navigate directly to the impacted area with a single click for more details.
1. Notes not Finalized: Number of Carenotes created but not finalized based on the Note date.
2. Unapplied Insurance Credits: Sum of all unapplied credits from insurance receipts.
3. Unapplied Patient Credits: Sum of all unapplied credits from the patient and collection agency receipts.
b. Leverage the Unconfirmed Appointments metric within Potential Impact on Revenue to improve appointment management by proactively identifying and addressing unconfirmed appointments, thus enabling timely actions to maximize revenue for your practice.
c. When you drill down on the Unapplied Insurance Credits metric, the Location filter on the Insurance Payments page is automatically set to match the selected location on your Daily Worklist.
2. Operational Reports
a. We have extended the date range criteria for six of the operational reports. These reports can be downloaded in CSV format with generated data for up to one year’s time. The extended date range criteria is available in the following reports:

- Insurance Plan

2. Audit Trail
The Audit Trail will now display the IP address of the logged-in user, enabling practices to monitor login locations. This can help identify potential account compromises.
1. Payment Link
Use the new Payment Link for CS Pay to collect payments directly from your system—patients can click the link and pay instantly.
1. Ability to Embed account-level or location-level Payment Links.
2. Take advantage of automatically creating receipts and matching with patients once a payment is made.
3. Easily collect payments across multiple locations using a Single Payment Link. The system automatically detects the appropriate Merchant ID and routes the payment based on the patient's details.
