Patient Ortho Statuses are designed to help practices clearly track where each orthodontic patient is in their treatment journey. With customizable, color-coded statuses and automated triggers, users can easily identify a patient’s current stage, reducing manual updates and improving workflow efficiency.

To configure a patient ortho status,
- Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Settings > Ortho > Patient Ortho Status.
- The grid displays the existing Ortho statuses. From here, users can review, edit, and manage the statuses as needed.
- To mark a status as default, select the desired status from the Default Status drop-down.
To add a new status,
- Click +Add New Status.
- Status Name: Enter a name for the status.
- Color: Select the desired color using the color picker.
- Trigger Action: Select the action that should automatically trigger the patient's ortho status.
Note:

- Once a status is created, you can Edit, Delete or Mark as Inactive/Active, as required.
- The ortho status will be visible on the Patient Overview.
To change the status manually,
- Click the drop-down next to the status name and select the desired status.
- Click the Status History icon to view status changes.
