Tooth Chart Items are graphic elements used in the clinical chart to visually represent orthodontic appliances, and attachments.

Let's explore how to create a tooth chart item.
- Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Settings > Ortho > Tooth Chart Items.
- The grid displays the tooth chart items that are already configured.
To add a new chart item,
- Click +Add New on the top right.
On the modal that opens up,
- Name: Enter the name of the tooth chart item.
- Description: Enter a description, if any.
- Graphic Type: Select the graphic type from the drop down that shows how it should be represented in the chart. You can preview each one as you select it.
To add Attributes,
- Click +Add New.
On the modal that opens up,
- Enter the Attribute Name.
- Enter the Code and Description.
- Click + Add Field to add another attribute.
- Once done, click Save.
The added attributes will be displayed in the Chart Item modal.
- To Edit the attribute, click on the pencil icon.
- To Delete the attribute, click on the delete icon.
- Click Save.
The tooth chart item can now be added to the chart.
