a. CS Learn Digital Assistant
The CS Learn Digital Assistant is an AI-powered support tool available within CareStack to help you quickly find information, understand workflows, and explore system features.
To access the CS Learn Digital Assistant,
- Click the Help icon within CareStack.
The CS Learn panel panel opens,
- Type your question in the search field.
- Press Enter to view the response.
The assistant will display:
- A clear, AI-generated answer
- Step-by-step walkthrough (if applicable)
- Related help articles
- Relevant tutorial videos
- If your next question relates to the previous response, enter it in the Ask Follow-Up section.
- If you would like to switch to a different topic, click New Topic.
- Click More to access Release Notes, Video Library, CareStack University, and the User Resource Center.
That’s how easily you can access additional resources whenever needed.
b. Course Management in CS Learn
Course Management in CS Learn enables practices to create, organize, and track structured training courses directly within CareStack.
With Course Management, you can:
- Search and manage courses within your CS Learn library.
- Create customized courses tailored to your practice’s specific workflows and training needs.
- Add videos directly from the CS Learn library to build structured modules.
- Assign courses to individual users or user profiles (role-based assignment).
- Track percentage-based progress for each assignee.
- Monitor engagement details, including course status and completion level.
Let's explore this further,
- Click the CareStack Learn icon at the top.
- You will be directed to the Home page. Let’s take a look at the key navigation tabs:

i. Create and Assign a Course
The Course Management tab allows users to create structured internal training courses using existing CareStack resources. Within the Created Courses tab, you can filter courses by All (created by all users) or By Me (created by you).
To create a course,
- Click +Create Course.
- Enter the Course Title.
- Add the Module Name and Description
- Click Save.
- Click Add Video to add the desired videos to the module.
- Search for and select the relevant videos.
- Click Save.
The selected videos will be added to the module.
- To add a new module, click Add module and follow the steps outlined above.
- You can also Edit or Delete a module as needed.
- Once the course is created, click Preview to review the course layout, verify modules and videos, and access related article links.
- Click Exit Preview Mode to return to Course Management.
- Once done, click Publish.
To Assign a course,
- Click the three-dot menu on the course you wish to manage.
- Select Assign Course.
- Select the desired user(s) from the drop-down.
- Click Save.
Use the Tracking section to evaluate training progress and adoption. You can track:
- By Assignee: See which courses are assigned to a specific user and monitor their completion percentage.
- By Course: View the users enrolled in a specific course and monitor their completion percentages.
ii. Manage Permissions for CareStack University
Let’s now explore how to manage permissions to control who can create, assign, and oversee courses.
- Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Settings > Administration > Profiles.
- Click Manage Permissions for the intended profile.
- Under CareStack University, select the following options as required:
- Create/Edit/Delete/Assign/Unassign Courses - Grants permission to create, modify, and delete courses, and to assign or unassign course management for others users.
- Assign/Unassign Courses - Grants permission to assign and unassign courses to other users.
- View course progress - Grants permission to view course progress of other users.
- Click Save.
- On the Confirm Action modal that appears, click Yes to proceed.
- A toast notification appears on the top right stating, 'Profile updated successfully'.
c. User Resource Center
The User Resource Center brings together a wide range of articles designed to help you confidently navigate and maximize the system’s capabilities. Explore resources covering everything from essential tasks to advanced workflows.
For accessing the User Resource Center,
- Navigate to the System Menu > select User Resource Center.
As the User Resource Center opens,
- You can search by keyword or explore relevant folders to easily locate the workflows or recent releases that match your needs.
