There are two ways you can Check Out an appointment in CareStack. Please note that when a patient's appointment is wrapping up, just before you check out the appointment, do a quick check to make sure the procedures that were completed are set to 'Completed'.

Let's get started!
Option 1
- Right-click on the appointment block on the Scheduler.
- Click Check Out on the menu.
Option 2
- Left-click on the desired appointment block on the Scheduler.
- Navigate to the top left of the appointment slide-out that opens.
- Click Status to open up the options to change the status of the appointment.
- Select Checked Out to proceed.
In the Checkout Confirmation that appears,
- All procedure codes that are not in Completed status will be displayed and are selected by default.
- Unselect any codes as required. These codes will be delinked from the appointment during checkout.
- Once you are sure, click Confirm to proceed.
- A notification will appear at the top right stating 'Code(s) completed successfully' and 'Appointment status changed successfully.'
Note: If a patient is scheduled for a future date, CareStack will not allow you to check out the patient until the appointment date. Moreover, to notify the user of the same, the following prompt will show up. |
In case a Schedule Recall pop-up appears,
- You have the option to select Find Other Slots or Cancel to proceed.
