When an appointment is marked as 'Cancelled' or 'No Show,' tracking the patient is important. Selecting the correct appointment status can help you reschedule or access a cancelled appointment and ensure the patient is accommodated.

View No Show/Cancelled Appointments in the Scheduler
- To view Cancelled or No Show appointments, click the Cancelled & No-Show Appts. (Appointments) button at the top right of the Scheduler. To learn more about the Scheduler, click here.
- No Show appointments will appear stricken off from one direction.
- Cancelled appointments will appear stricken off from both directions with strikethroughs on the text.
Rescheduling of Appointments
- Navigate to the Scheduler.
- Right-click on the intended Appointment tile.
- A pop-up with the options will appear that allows you to change the status of the appointment.
- Choose the desired Appointment Status. Here, as an example, we will select either No Show or Cancel from the options.
- Selecting either option will open a Missed Appointment pop-up with Appointment Details.
Add Appointment to the Reschedule Queue
- Click Add to Reschedule Queue to move the cancelled appointment to the reschedule queue.
- A toast notification will appear on the top right stating, 'Appointment Status updated successfully'.
- Hover over the Lists on the left-hand side panel.
- Select Reschedule Queue.
- In the Scheduling List, the complete list of appointments yet to be rescheduled can be found.
Find New Time
- Click Find New Time to be directed to the Find Slot slide-out.
- Select the desired Providers, Specialties, Locations, and Production Type.
- Click Search Appointment.
The available time slots will be listed. Click View in Scheduler for the desired slot to proceed with the booking.
- You will be redirected to the Scheduler. Select Click to Book Appt. to proceed.
- Enter Appointment Details.
- Select 'Patient' or 'Practice' for Reschedule Reason.
- Click Save.
- Once complete, the appointment will be updated to the new slot.
Reschedule Now
- Click Reschedule Now to immediately reschedule the appointment.
- The appointment slot will be displayed in dotted lines.
- Click and drag on the desired slot on the Scheduler to open the appointment slide-out for rescheduling.
- Add the appointment details, select the Reschedule Reason, and click Save.
Access the Reschedule Queue
To access cancelled appointments that have been moved to the Reschedule Queue.
- Hover over Lists > select Reschedule Queue.
To delete an appointment from the list:
- Select the desired entry.
- Click Delete.
To filter the scheduling list,
- Choose 'No Show' or 'Cancelled' Status to filter the relevant patient appointments in the queue.
- Along with the Status, you will find Reasons, displaying the reason for cancelling the appointment, whether it is by the Patient or Practice.
- Click Print to open and print the scheduling list.
- Here, you can view the Status and Reason for the appointments in the Reschedule Queue.
