Establishing the scheduler's working hours is crucial as it basis the foundation for managing appointments in the scheduler, also referred to as the appointment calendar. Utilizing the Scheduler's Working Hours feature lets practices establish their opening, closing, and break times. These hours indicate the days and times their practice will be available to see patients and serve as the default for all locations. However, they can be adjusted at the individual location level if necessary.
Practices can set working hours at both Account and Location levels.

Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Settings > Scheduler > Working Hours.

- Navigate to the Scheduler.
- Click Setup on the top right.
- Select Working Hours.
Here you can view the working hours at the Account and Location levels.
Set Up Account Level Working Hours

- Select Account.
- Click Edit to modify the working hours for the intended day of the week.
- Enter the Start, End, and Break Times as desired.
- Select Yes or No to specify if it is a Working Day.
- Select Yes to Apply for all days, OR
- Choose No to apply changes only to specific days.
- Click Save, once done.
To confirm, click Proceed on the warning modal.
A toast notification will appear stating 'Working Hours Updated Successfully'.

Set Up Location Level Working Hours

- Select the Location tab.
- Select the intended location from the Location drop-down.
- Click Edit.

Use Account Setting:
- Select Yes to use account-level settings.
- To set custom settings, select No.
- Choose the Working days in a week for the location.
- Select Yes under the 'Is a Working Day' column for the required days to mark it as a working day.
- Set the Start Time, End Time, Break Start Time, and Break End Time for each working day.
- Click Apply for all days if you want to replicate the settings for all days of the week.
- Click Save.
A toast notification will appear stating 'Working Hours Updated Successfully'.
| Note: The topmost hierarchy is assigned to account-level working hours unless specific working hours are set for a particular location. |

If users in your practice cannot change working hours, please ensure that the relevant permissions are enabled.
To enable Permissions,
- Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Settings > Administration > Profiles.
- Click Manage Permissions for the intended profile.
- Select Practice Settings.
- Under Scheduler, select View Working Hours or Add/Edit Working Hours.
- Click Save.
- On the Confirm Action modal that appears, click Yes to proceed.
- A toast notification appears on the top right stating, 'Profile updated successfully'.
