1. Reschedule Queue/Short Call a. Bulk Text & Email Functionality
CareStack offers you the distinctive flexibility to choose a set of patients and leverage the capability to send messages in bulk utilizing the Bulk Text or Email feature on both the Reschedule and Short Call Queue. It is to be noted that messages sent through Campaigns will continue to be free, while any messages dispatched from the Reschedule, Short Call Queue, and Opportunity Miner will incur charges.
Note: Enabling the message-sending option necessitates a modification to the practice’s contracts. For further details, please get in touch with the CareStack Support Team.
A banner will be displayed on the Reschedule/Short Call interface to inform practices about the availability of this feature for those who have not yet chosen to opt for it.
2. Patient Tracker
a. Addition of a Filter for Providers
We have introduced a filter for Providers to customize the Patient Tracker by selecting a specific Provider's name. By default, it will retain the original provider who logged into the PMS.
3. Appointment Modal
a. Removal of Add Code Warning Pop-Up
We have eliminated the warning pop-up that appears when adding a code to an appointment associated with a surgery or clinical case, which typically notifies the user that the added codes will also be linked to the clinical case.
Eliminating the add code warning feature decreases the number of clicks required for the user.
1. Advanced Planner
a. Discount Management functionality
The Advanced Planner introduces notable modifications to efficiently address Discount Management. A Discount Column has been added to facilitate users in promptly discerning the applied discount on codes.
i. Delete Discount
You can easily Remove the Discount applied to a code which will zero it down.
b. Patient Estimate
The term 'Patient Estimate' has been substituted with 'Patient Payable,' and this alteration will be mirrored on the Patient Portal.
c. In cases where the patient possesses both primary and secondary insurance, the default representation will include the 'Show Insurance Breakdown', featuring two columns to represent both insurances.
d. We have updated the formatting for the Fee Estimate breakdown located at the bottom right of the Advanced Planner to align precisely with the presentation of the corresponding columns directly above on the modal.

3. Appointment Block

Additionally, we offer XChart Vital monitoring, an add-on integration that is accessible by contacting our support team. This integration allows you to seamlessly transition from an appointment to XChart for vital monitoring. Upon completion, you can finalize the PDF document, and it will be stored within your Clinical Case Document tab.

a. Clinical Cases/Clinical Summary
Furthermore, users can promptly access the corresponding clinical case or clinical summary by right-clicking on an appointment linked to a clinical case. This eliminates the need for multiple clicks to navigate to the clinical cases section from the patient overview.
1. Rectangle Integration
We have introduced Rectangle as a 4th option for an integrated merchant processor to process debit/credit cards. This integration is utilized inside a Patient CareStack Ledger or the Insurance Payment screen to easily document a payment and process a card at the same time via swipe-to-pay and manual card entry. The latest additions of new metrics for the Daily Worklist include the following:
a. Missing Transactions: This metric has been designed to track:
- Number of appointments that are either checked out but have no codes that are completed.
b. Unscheduled Treatment: This metric tracks the total dollar amount of the codes with the following criteria:
- Codes that are unscheduled but are not in rejected status.
- The code status recently updated within the selected date range.
