3. Entering Hardware & Material Details
Accurate tracking of lot numbers and sizes is vital for safety and warranty purposes. This is extremely vital information to track due to correspondence with referral partners and potential recall products the patient may have been affected by.
Enter in additional details regarding Implant System, Abutment, Membrane, and up to a maximum of 2 Bone Graft(s) per case.
4. Recording the Clinical Timeline
Enter the following dates only after they occur. Entering dates in advance can lead to inaccuracies if appointments are rescheduled or treatment plans change. This can later be edited if needed.
5. Sharing Letters with Referral Providers
To share details with a referring provider, use the Generate Letter function inside the Implant Tracker. This will link all entered data directly to an existing referral template in your environment.
In the Implant Tracker, select the specific Implant Case.
Click Generate Letter.
Choose the appropriate Referral Letter Template (configured in Practice Settings).
- Click Insert Implant Details within the letter editor.
Select the specific data points you wish to include in the pop-up window; this will generate a formatted table in the letter.
- Finalize: Add any necessary context, obtain provider signatures, print then save.
