Accessing Patient Images
Patient images can be accessed from multiple areas within the system:
Appointment Module
Access images directly from the patient’s appointment card
Review imaging history and select individual images
Best Practice: Use this access point for quick reference during scheduling or patient inquiries. |
Dental Chart
Navigate to the Imaging Tab
View full image history and associated records
Best Practice: Leverage this view during treatment planning and diagnosis. |

Select the AEKA Imaging Tab
Launch images into the AEKA Imaging Suite for full evaluation
Clinical Image Evaluation Workflow
Providers can efficiently evaluate images using the following tools and filters:

Image Viewing & Navigation
Select an image to open the Inset View
The image is now layered on top of the Dental Chart page
The image can be placed anywhere in the Dental Chart by dragging to view other areas of the screen.
Enlarge images by dragging corners diagonally
This gives the user a larger visual of the image to diagnose
Use the side arrows or carousel to navigate between images

Advanced Viewing Options
Use the Pencil Icon to open images in the AEKA Imaging Suite
Select Open in Workspace to launch a dedicated tab
Displays all images associated with selected tooth numbers
Best Practice: Use workspace view when focusing on specific teeth for detailed evaluation and treatment planning. |

Land on the All Exams Page
Select exams and images for review
Image Viewing
Select an exam date
Double-click the image you want to view full screen
Use the dropdown to select images within an exam

Magnification
Image inversion
Colorization
Rotate
Flip
Tooth number tagging
Select the Edit Tool (Pencil Icon) for advanced features such as:
Adding annotations, Measuring areas, etc.
Enhancing diagnostic visualization (Vision +)
