Exporting an Image from TigerView
To export an image from TigerView,
Left-click once on each image you want to export in the Patients & Images window.
| Note: Ensure all required images are selected before proceeding. |
- Right-click anywhere within the Images section of the Patients & Images window.
- Hover your cursor over the File option in the Menu.
- Click Export.
- Click on the desired export location from the following options: Hard disk/Memory stick, CD/DVD/Blu-ray, DICOM Server, Email.
Note: If you do not select an export location from the submenu, the Export window will automatically open to the last used subwindow (e.g., Hard disk/Memory stick, CD/DVD/Blu-ray, etc.). |
To choose a different export location, click on one of the tabs at the top of the Export window.
Exporting to specific locations:

Hard Disk/Memory Stick: Use this option when you want to save the images to,
- A hard drive on your computer or a networked computer.
- An external hard drive connected to your computer or a networked computer.
- A memory stick (e.g., USB drive, jump drive, thumb drive).
CD/DVD/Blu-ray: Use this option when you want to burn the images to a CD, DVD or Blu-ray drive on your computer or a networked computer.
- DICOM Server: Use this option when you need to send the images to a DICOM server or DICOM printer.
- Email: Use this option to create an email with the selected images attached. The images will be included as attachments in the email for easy sharing.
- After selecting the appropriate export location and making any necessary adjustments, complete the export by following the prompts within the selected method (e.g., selecting a folder for the images, inserting a CD/DVD for burning, or entering an email address for email exports).
- Confirm that the images have been successfully exported by checking the designated location (e.g., folder, CD, DICOM server, email).
Note: Ensure that TigerView is installed on your system as a prerequisite. |
Exporting an Image from SOTA
To export an image from SOTA,
- Click Export on the top-right.
- Click Select Images to download specific images.
- To download all images at once, select Export All Images.
- Select the images to export (This step applies only when you select specific images to download).
- Click Review Export.

Choose the format to export the X-ray.
- The available options are PDF, PNG, Dicom, and Jpeg.
- Click Export.
Exporting an Image from XVWeb
To download a copy of images from your XVWeb,
- Select the username on the top-right.
- Select About & Help.
If Export is listed as one of the Account Permissions, you will have the ability to download and take screenshots of images.
- Navigate to the patient record.
- Select the x-ray you wish to view from the left preview bar.
- Click Export on the right-hand side.
- Select Download.
- Select the intended Archive Format.
- Select the desired Image Format.
- Enter an optional Zip Password.
- Click Download.
- The image(s) will download to your browser's chosen folder, which is typically Downloads.
Note: CT images must be downloaded individually and cannot be downloaded as a part of the group. |
To download a screenshot of an X-ray,
- Select the username on the top-right.
- Select About & Help.
If Export is listed as one of the Account Permissions, you will have the ability to download and take screenshots of images.
Select the images you wish to view from the left preview bar.
- Select Export.
- Select Screenshot.
- Select the File Format. The available options are JPEG and PNG.
- Select Scale (%).
- Click Screenshot.
- The image(s) will download to your browser's chosen folder, which is typically Downloads.
