NEA attachments refer to the electronic attachments that are required by certain insurance carriers when submitting claims for dental procedures. NEA (National Electronic Attachment), is a system that allows dental offices to transmit these attachments electronically.

Account Level Configuration
To configure the NEA attachment at the account level, perform the steps below.
- Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Settings > Services.
- Click Configure on the NEA Fast-Attach tile.
- Enter Provider Facility ID > click Save.
Location Level Configuration
To configure NEA attachments at the location level, perform the steps below.
- Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Settings > Payments & Billing > Services.
- Select the Billing Services tab > click on the intended location.
- Click Electronic Attachment > Edit.
- Set No for Use Account Settings. This option will select the location-level configuration.
- Select NEA Attachment for the Electronic Attachment option.
- Enter Provider Facility ID.
- Click Save.
