Carestack has the provision to mark ICD codes as mandatory for claims where the ICD codes are an absolute requirement.

Navigate to the System Menu > Practice Settings > Codes > Procedure Codes.
- Select the required code from the Procedure Codes grid.
- Click Edit on the Update Procedure Code pop-up.
- Select Yes for the ICD Code Mandatory field.
- Click Save at the bottom right.
- A toast notification will appear on the top right as 'Procedure Code updated successfully.'
