In CareStack, ICD codes are automatically renewed and updated annually. Let's explore how to access the ICD codes list in your Practice Settings.

- Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Settings > Codes > ICD Codes.

Let's explore the Search functionality in the ICD codes list.
- You will be able to search by a specific code or by description.
Let's take you through the Patient's Clinical Chart for adding an ICD Code.
- Search for the Patient using the Global Search bar.
- Hover over Clinical > select Chart.
- Click +Code on the upper right.
- Utilize the Search bar located at the top right to retrieve the desired code(s).
- Hover over the i icon under Description.
- The code will be seen as indicated: 'ICD Code is Mandatory.' Click here to learn how to mark an ICD code as mandatory.
- Click on the indicator to proceed.
- Select the patient's tooth number.
- Select from the dropdown the required ICD Code.
- Click Apply.
- Once the code has been applied, click Add to Treatment at the bottom right.
To view and adjust the attached ICD code after the treatment is added:
- Select the code to open up CodeStack.
- You can make modifications, add more ICD codes, or change the selected code under Clinical Details.
- After making any updates, click Save.
