Once an insurance plan has been saved into the patient's profile, you cannot make any changes to who the subscriber of the plan is.
In the event that you may have added the wrong subscriber, you will need to terminate the plan and then re-add it with the correct subscriber.

Let's see how to view the insurance plans of a patient, and change the subscriber details of a patient.
- Select the patient using the Global Search Bar.
- Click on the Insurance button.
On this page, you can view all insurance plans of the selected patient in a color-coded tree view.
- Active insurance plans will be displayed in a white color.
- Plans with Eligibility Pending will be shown in a red color.
- Plans in Draft status will be displayed in a light yellow shade.
- Terminated Plans will be displayed in a grey color.
- Plans in Inactive status will have the Inactive Plan label.
| Note: Uncheck the Hide Terminated Plans checkbox to view the terminated plans of a patient. |
- Click Edit Subscriber Details.
- Make required changes on the Subscriber, Subscriber ID Type, and Subscriber ID.
- You can only change the Subscriber to a family member that is already present in the insurance plan.
- Change the Relationship of the added members to the Subscriber, if needed.
- Click Update.
