FAQs
- The overall structure of your statements will remain familiar, while the Advanced Template introduces a cleaner and more modern visual design. If enabled, your practice logo will be displayed within the statement header for enhanced branding.
- Aesthetics have been improved, with the usage of subtle colors, rounded corners, and a cleaner reading-experience.

The Advanced Statement Template is designed for standard #10 double-window envelopes (shown below) to ensure proper alignment of the sender and recipient addresses.
Note: Envelope selection is applicable only when printing statements directly from CareStack using your in-house printer. If you are using the Print & Mail service, envelopes and mailing logistics will be handled automatically by the service.
Patients who previously received Standard Statements will notice a refreshed, modern design, with (optional) branding and easy-to-read data. If you wish to substantiate/assist the visual upgrade, here are some options:
- Statement Note - Add a single line on the first new statement: “New look, same account – please contact us if you have any questions.”
- Reception script - Front desk says: “You may receive a statement with a refreshed look; it’s from us.”
- SMS - “We’re updating our patient statements to a cleaner, easier-to-read look. There is no change to your balance or account. If you have any questions, call us at <phone>.”
Do keep in mind that this is applicable only for existing patients who have received the Old Statement Template before. New patients will never know any difference.
No impacts on previously generated or sent statements. Those will remain in the old Standard Template; even when retrieving/downloading old records from CareStack.
No changes are required to your existing statement printing or emailing workflows.
There is no downtime involved when switching. After transition, the very next statement that you generate will use the Advanced Template.
No reconfiguration is required. Your existing default settings will continue to be used.
However, once you switch to the Advanced Template, there are additional settings you can tweak, like the Logo, Custom Messages in Statements, QR Code (for direct payments or Patient Portal access), and more.
Apart from informing staff about the updated statement appearance, no additional training is required.
