Migrated balances, displayed as the Migrated Starting Balance (MSB), represent the outstanding patient and insurance balances carried over from the previous software. The MSB captures the final financial summary from the old system. The clinical data is retained thus eliminating the need for tracking fees, codes, or adjustments, and allows the MSB to be used for applying payments and new charges going forward.
