Taxonomy codes, unique ten-character alpha-numeric codes, are accessible within CareStack. We will guide you through the repository of commonly used taxonomy codes within the PMS, tailored to the specialty chosen for the patient.
Navigate to System Menu > Practice Settings > Codes > Taxonomy Codes.
Taxonomy codes are structured into three levels to distinguish between the provider grouping, classification, and area of specialization that are compliant with HIPAA.
