Watch this video for a concise summary.
Navigate to the System Menu > select Claims.
To access previous batches or start a new one, simply click View All Batch Claims or Generate Batch Claims respectively, on the top right.
Let's start with initiating a new batch.
Click Generate Batch Claims.
Choose the preferred selection for the following:
- Claim Channel: All, Paper-Based or Electronic.
- Choose Location(s) and Providers > click Apply.
- Date of Service (defaults to last three months)
- You can manually change the dates but to no more than six months.
| Note: Any completed code within the Date of Service date range selected, that has a billing order of any letter other than N (No Bill) will be included in the batch, by telling the system to scan all completed codes with an insurance billing order so the claim can be auto batched for you, removing the need to individually batch claims based on appointment. |
- Select Yes or No to Auto generate claims in all hierarchy, (i.e. Primary Secondary & Tertiary.)
Note:
|
- Status of remaining higher order claims: Choose Saved or On Hold as preferred for the remaining claims in the hierarchy.
- Opting to hold will keep the claims within the On Hold section, while those saved will appear in the Pending Submission tab.
- Click Generate.
To submit claims on hold,
- Select the On Hold section.
- Select the claim.
- Review the claim and input any necessary information.
- For Electronic, you will have the Save & Submit button and for Paper-Based, it will be Print & Submit.
- A toast notification will appear on the top right stating, 'Claim submitted successfully.'
To review the batch you have generated,
- Click View all Batch Claims.
Select your criteria and click Apply wherever applicable such as for Claim Channel, Locations, Providers, Batch Generated Date, etc. to view claims accordingly.
