Access Practice Analytics Dashboard

Let's explore how to access Practice Analytics.
- Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Analytics.
Practice Analytics Dashboard
All your available dashboards can be found in the All Dashboards section.
You can favorite a dashboard for quick access. To favorite a dashboard,
- Click on the star icon of the intended dashboard.
- You can view the dashboards under the Favorites section.
- Click the star icon on the favorited dashboard to Remove From Favorites.
| Note: All Super Admins will have access to system-built dashboards. Super Admins can share the dashboards with other users as needed. |
To share and access the dashboard,
- Click the three-dot menu.
- Select Sharing and Access.
A Share modal will appear,
- Select the required Profile.
- Select the intended users you want to give access to.
- Click Share Selected.
Explore Dashboard Functionalities
Let's explore the different functionalities inside any dashboard. Let's start with an example of the Collection Dashboard.
- Click the view icon to open the relevant dashboard.
- The Collection Dashboard will open with the primary set of filters and other data.

Location: Utilize the Location filter option to filter the collection dashboard by location.
- By default, the user's location will be selected.
- Users can make use of Date Range filters to filter the metrics by Today, Yesterday, 7 Days, 30 Days, Last 3 Months, and Custom date range.
- More Filters: Click More Filters to use the additional filter options such as Credit Type, Provider, Aging Type, etc.
- Click the Refresh icon to update the dashboard with the latest data.
- Click Download to download the dashboard.
Features Inside Every Multi-Metric Cards
Each dashboard consists of different multi-metric cards. For instance, the collection dashboard consists of 3 multi-metric cards for instance Collection Performance, Collection by Paying Entity, and Unapplied Credits Aging.
- A multi-metric card has related metrics and a visual diagram that shows how the key metrics are performing across time.
- For example, Collection Performance shows Gross Collection and Net Collection over the past period.
- There are 4 related metrics for Collection Performance with the trends from the last period. Hover over each metric to view the definition.
Depending on the multi-metric card and the metrics, you will have options such as Expand, Drill In, and View Trends.
1. Expand
- Click the Expand icon to view the graph of Gross Collection and Net Collection over the last twelve months.
- Once the expanded view appears,
- You can filter the data by location.
- Click MoM, QoQ, or YoY to view the graph of Month over Month, Quarter over Quarter, or Year over Year.
2. Drill in
- Click the Drill In icon to explore the first level of drill-in data
On the Collection Performance slide-out that opens with the metrics data,
- Users can filter the Trends using Location, Provider, Specialty, and Provider Type.
- Click More Filters to utilize extra filters.
- Users can make use of Date Range filters to filter the metrics by Today, Yesterday, 7 Days, 30 Days, Last 3 Months, or a Custom date range.
- Click View All Trends to see all trends.
- Click Download CSV to download the data.
- Users can Breakdown the metrics by Location, Specialty, Provider Type, Service Type, CDT Category, and CDT Code.
- To add an additional breakdown, either click + Breakdown or click the + icon.
- Select the Breakdown type.
- An additional column will be added with the selected breakdown type.
- Click the down arrow to apply the breakdown to the metrics.
- Click the up arrow to remove the breakdown.
- Click on any individual value of any specific metric to view more filtered data.
3. View Trends
- Click the View Trends icon to view the trends.
A Collection Performance slide-out will open, displaying each metric in a graph to show the trends.
- You can filter the Trends using Location, Credit Type, Provider, and Aging Type.
- Click More Filters to utilize extra filters.
- Click MoM, QoQ, or YoY to view the trends of Month over Month, Quarter over Quarter, and Year over Year.
- Click Graphical View display the metrics in a graph.
- Click Tabular View to display the metrics in a table.
Create a New Dashboard
Explore this video for an in-depth walkthrough.
- Click + Add Dashboard on the top right.
- Select a Dashboard Type.
- Choose Blank to start a dashboard from scratch, or select Templates to customize from the curated lists provided.
To create a dashboard from scratch,
- Click Blank.
- A blank canvas with a widget bar will appear. If not, click + Add a Widget.
- Select the desired metric.

Choose the multi-metric card or single-metric card as needed.
- You can choose as many metrics as you want.
- Enter the Dashboard Name.
- Click Edit Description to add or modify the description, if needed.
- Set the Default Filters for Location and Time Range.
- Click More Filters to set additional default filters.
- Once the dashboard is set, click Save Dashboard.
To customize an existing dashboard,
- Click Template.
- Select an existing Template.
- You can Rename the template and Edit Description, if needed.
- Set the Default Filters for Location and Time Range, and add More Filters, if needed.
- Click Add a Widget to add a multi-metric or single-metric card.
- Click Remove to remove any added metric cards.
- Once the dashboard is set, click Save Dashboard.
