Manage Drugs
- Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Setting > Prescription > Drugs.
- Within the Drugs Section, you can view all preset of drugs in the PMS.
- Click +Add Drug to add new drugs into the system.
In the Add New Drug modal, fill in the necessary information such as:
- Drug Name: Name of the drug.
- Description: Description of the drug.
- Allergies: Add in any allergy associated with the drugs.
- Dosage Form: Select the dosage form.
- Default Sig: Add default instruction for this prescription.
- Default Days: Number of days for this treatment.
- Default Qty: Amount of meds required during the treatment.
- Default Refill: Number of refills you would like to enter.
- Drug Type: Select the medication type, whether Over the Counter or Controlled Substance.
- Additional Notes: Add additional notes, if required.
- Click Save.
Deactivate and Activate Drugs
To deactivate an intended drug,
- Click Deactivate directly on the line item.
To perform bulk action:
- Select the intended drugs.
- Click Deactivate on the top.
To enable a drug that is currently inactive:
- Select Inactive under Status to display the list.
- Click Apply.
- Select the desired drug from the inactive list.
- Click Activate.
