Let's explore Operational Reports and their extended features.

- Navigate to the System Menu > select Operational Reports.
- Search the name of the intended report or Saved Filter.
- You can view all reports by their titles on the left pane.
- On the top right, you will see the Sort Reports by option.
- You can sort the reports according to your needs. By default, it is sorted in Alphabetical order.
| Note: The other options you can use include Favorites, Last Generated, Least Used, and Most Used. |
The Filter by criteria provides a logical grouping of reports. For example, if you select Appointments and Operations, it will show you reports matching both criteria.
| Note: The logically grouped reports are set as clickable labels on the top for easy access. Reports are arranged as cards right below for quicker selection. You can utilize the Favorites button to view all Favorited filters. To see more details about the report, click on the downward arrow key symbol on the right side of the report. |
- Click on the Generate Report button on the right side OR
- Click on the '+' icon against the required reports on the left side panel.
| Tip: Each card holds a description of the report along with its use case to equip users with the primary knowledge of the specific report, complemented with 'Similar reports in other PMS'. |
- This will open up the selected report, allowing the user to apply the required filters.

Here in this illustration, we have chosen to create a new Income Allocation Extended report.
- Select Create New or choose any of the saved Filter Criteria to create a new report with the ‘Select Existing’ feature as suited to your requirement.
- The filter criteria selected while creating a new report can be updated, renamed, or even saved as a new filter.
- For 'Select View', choose the option that suits your specific requirement; Group it by Location or Provider or both, and choose the relevant Sort By option.
- Then, you have the Date Range, for which you can choose a fixed date range or opt for a dynamic date range such as Year to Date (YTD), Month to Date (MTD), Week to Date (WTD), Last 6 Months, Last 1 Month, Last 14 Days, Last 7 Days, or Today.
- You can also use additional options that are specific to the income allocation extended (beta) report, such as: exclude inactive providers, payments from migrated receipts, and membership discount credits.
Once you have made the intended selection, navigate to the bottom right, where you can click Generate Report to get your report.
Click Download Report As to download the report in the desired file format.
| Note: You can save the selected filters to use next time by checking the Save Filter checkbox. |
| Note: You can make use of the navigation menu titled ‘Unsaved Filter’ on the Report Generation page to view all saved filters as well as select and switch between those saved filters to quickly generate the desired report. |
- If you select the Save Filter option followed by the Download Report As or Generate Report options, a Save Filter pop-up will appear wherein you can enter the Filter Name and even Mark filter as favorite.
- Select Save & Generate Report to proceed.
- Select the Favorites tab on the top to view all Favorited filters.
- To remove the generated report from Favorites, deselect the yellow star.
Additionally, you can Generate the report and Download it as PDF, CSV, or Excel file.
- Click the three-dot menu for options like:
- Edit: When you click Edit, the related Report slide-out will appear wherein you can make the desired changes, be it to the Date Range or other fields.
- Delete
- Duplicate
To share the filter,
- Click Share.
A Share modal will appear. Here,
- Select the users or profiles to grant view access.
- You can Copy Link to manually save the read-only link for future reference.
- Click Share.
Once done, navigate to the bottom and select Download Report As or Generate Report.
