Permission to Access the Analytics Dashboard
- Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Settings > Administration > Profiles.
- Click Manage Permissions for the intended profile.
- Select Insights.
- Under Analytics Dashboard, select Add/Edit/Delete Analytics Dashboard.
- Click Save.
- On the Confirm Action modal that appears, click Yes to proceed.
- A toast notification appears on the top right stating, 'Profile updated successfully'.
Analytics Dashboard Home Page
Let's explore the features of the analytics dashboard homepage.
- Navigate to the System Menu > select Analytics Dashboard.
- Utilize the Search Bar to find the intended dashboards from the grid.
- Click the Sort Dashboards by drop-down menu to sort the dashboards by certain criteria such as Alphabetical, Favorite, Last Generated, Least Used, or Most Used. The order of the listed dashboards will change depending on the Sort setting.
- You can mark a dashboard as 'Favorite' by clicking the Star icon on the left.
- To focus on shared dashboards, select the Show only Shared Dashboards option.
Create & Configure the New Dashboard
- Navigate to the System Menu > select Analytics Dashboard.
- Click + Add Dashboard.
- Click the desired category to reveal its specific KPIs.
- Drag and drop the desired KPI into the placeholders on the right.

In the KPI modal that appears,
- Customize the KPI by selecting the required Filters.
- Click Save.
You can see the widget on the placeholder along with its value.
- Click the Pencil icon to edit the filters.
- Click the Delete icon to delete the widget.
When there are multiple KPIs, you can use the Bulk Edit feature to easily make common edits to the selected KPIs in one go.
To perform bulk edit,
- Select the required widgets.
- Click Bulk Edit.
- Make the required changes.
- Click Save.
- Changes made will be reflected across all selected widgets.
Note: You can only update common filters for the selected items in bulk. |
Filters & Show Trends
- Be sure to select and apply the Filters as suited to your requirements.
Key Points About Filters:
- To display data relative to the location you have logged in, select 'Use Current User Location' or else select the desired location(s).
- The selected location will appear at the bottom of the customized widget.
- To compare the Trend by Previous Period or Year under Trend Settings, select the appropriate Time Period.
- Click Save.
Note: Depending on the selected KPI, the Filters shall differ. |
- For a preview of the filters applied to the selected KPI, hover over More Filters.
Note: You can choose a custom time period based on your preference. To do this, select 'Custom' as the Time Period and choose the required period from the Date Range. |
Manage Actions on the New Dashboard
1. Save the Dashboard
Enter the preferred Dashboard Name on the top left > click Save.
2. View all Dashboards
- All the Dashboards will be listed under the Analytics Dashboard tab.
3. Edit a Dashboard
To edit a dashboard,
- Click Edit next to the intended dashboard.
- Click View to see the dashboard.
- You can also click Edit from inside the dashboard if needed.
To perform other actions,
- Click the three-dot menu > select the required Action.
- Duplicate: Create a copy of the saved dashboard to customize and make the desired changes.
- Share: Share the dashboard with users who have access or permission to view the analytics dashboard.
- Transfer Ownership: Transfer ownership of the dashboard to another user.
- Delete: Delete the saved dashboard.
