For practices to set their perio chart preferences at a System Level, perform the steps below.
Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Settings > Clinical > Perio Chart.
Click Edit to set your preferences.
Address the following settings as needed:
- Perio Chart Settings: Edit the general perio chart settings like on which site(s) pocket depth, gingival margin, etc. are to be marked, whether mobility and furcation should be marked, should editing of perio chart be possible (only available on the same day), etc.
Select Depth levels (in mm): Set color-coded alert points on the perio-chart depth.
Default Provider Settings: Set the default provider settings, including enabling auto advance (this functionality in the perio chart lets users simply enter the depth information and it automatically switches to the next tooth) allowing perio readings and parameters to auto-advance.
Choose your Direction of probing, which allows users to decide the direction in which the auto-advance and probing should be.
Select data display preference: Establish probing with a bar, line graph, or both with the measurement.
Parameters to Copy from Previous Exam: Select the details that should be copied from a previous exam. Users can also print the chart after finishing the exam, with the option to include the numeric chart / bleeding and plaque chart.
Ensure to click Save once done.
A toast notification will appear on the top right stating 'Periodontal Settings updated successfully.'
To set Perio Chart Preferences at a User Level:
Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Providers.
Click View for the desired provider row.
On the Provider Preference modal that appears, click Edit.
