To make online booking faster and more accurate, practices can create custom links that pre-select a provider or appointment reason for patients.

Let's explore how to create custom booking links in the online appointment portal settings.
- Navigate to the System Menu > select Online Appointments.
In the Home tab,
- Click +Create New under Custom Links.
In the Create New Custom Link modal,
- Select the desired custom link as Provider Link or Appointment Reason Link.
If you select the type as Provider Link,
- Provider: Select the desired provider from the drop-down.

Location: Select the desired location(s) from the drop-down.
- You can view all the locations the provider has access to.
- Click Generate Link.
- Click Open URL to open the Online Booking Portal in a new tab.
- Click Copy URL to copy the link to your Clipboard, then paste it into the website or campaign where you want to use it.
After visiting the Online Appointment Portal, the patient can:
- Select the desired Appointment Reason.
- Appointment Reasons are based on the provider’s specialty and matching production type, which determines provider availability.
- Select the desired slot.
If you select the type as Appointment Reason Link,
- Appt. Reason: Select the desired appointment reason from the drop-down.
- Locations: Select the desired location(s) from the drop-down.
- Click Generate Link.
- Click Open URL to open the Online Booking Portal in a new tab.
- Click Copy URL to copy the link to your Clipboard, then paste it into the website or campaign where you want to use it.
After visiting the Online Appointment Portal, the patient can select a desired slot and continue with the booking process.
