If you want your patients to fill out their paperwork before their appointment, you can send a text reminder to notify them of the same. Let's explore this simple workflow.

- Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Settings > Templates.
Click +Add on the top right to create an Email or Text template.
To create an email or text template to remind about pending forms,
- Make sure the required Name and Contents fields are filled in according to your practice’s requirements.
- Fill in the desired details in your email/text template and include the @pendingforms tag.
- Click Save to save the email/text template and continue.
A toast notification will appear on the top right stating, 'Template updated successfully.'
Once your practice has set up the Forms Reminder Template within Practice Settings, here is what you need to do.
- Select the patient using the Global Search Bar.
- Select the +Message quick link on the top.
| Note: Now you are ready to send an individual text to the relevant patient(s). |
On the Add Message pop-up that opens up,
- Select the Email/Text option on the top left.
- Click Select a Template on the right to select the Pending form template that you just set up.
- If needed, you can further customize the message based on your practice's requirements.
- Ensure to click Send once done.
