External Providers can now manage both incoming and outgoing referrals within the Referral Portal, including creating new referrals. The provider can also edit their details like name, phone number, etc.

Login to Referral Portal
Once external Referral Provider gets added, they will receive a login email. To learn more about adding a referral provider, click here.
To login to Referral Portal,
- Click on the Website Login link.
- Enter the Username and Password.
- Click Login.
- If you click Forgot Password,
- Enter the Username.
- Click Submit.
- A password reset link will be sent to the registered email.
- Click Reset your password.
- Enter your New Password.
- Click Submit.
Incoming Referrals

Let's explore the Incoming Referrals tab on the Referral Portal.
- The Incoming Referrals tab displays all referrals that have been received by the provider.
- Whenever the provider receives an incoming referral, it will be notified with email, you can click on the link provided to access the referral portal.
- Users can filter the referral by All, Received, Read, Accepted, Rejected, Scheduled and Completed.
- Use the Sort By feature to sort referrals by Recent Activity, Referred Date Ascending, Referred Date Descending, Expected Date Ascending and Expected Date Descending.
- Users can search by using Patient Name, Email, Referred By, and Insurance.
- Additional filters include Appointment Date, Expected Date, and Referred On.
- Click View Details to view the Incoming Referral Details.
The Incoming Referral Details slide-out displays key information, including Patient Summary and other Referral details.
- Patient Summary includes details such as Patient Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Phone Number, and Email ID.
- Additionally, it includes Referral Status, Referred by, Referred To, Referred On, or Expected Return Date details.

Referral Timeline includes,
- Received
- Read
- Accepted
- Appointment Date
- Exp. Return (Expected Return)
- If there is any referral documents attached,
- Click View Referral Document.
To schedule an appointment,
- Select Schedule from the Status dropdown.
A Schedule Appointment modal will appear,
- Select the Appointment Date.
- Click Save.
- A toast notification will appear in the top right stating, Status Successfully Updated.
To chat with the provider,
- Utilize the Provider Chat, to chat with the provider who have sent out the referral.
- Click the attachment icon to send the attachment.
- An Upload Document modal will appear,
- Either Drag and Drop your file or select Click here to select and upload your file.
- Select the file and click Open to send the attachment.
Outgoing Referrals
Explore this video for an in-depth walkthrough.
- On the Referral Portal, select Outgoing Referrals.
- The Outgoing Referrals tab includes all the Referrals created by the referral provider.
- Users can filter the referral by All, Sent, Read, Accepted, and Rejected.
- Use the Sort By feature to sort referrals by Recent Activity, Referred Date Ascending, Referred Date Descending, Expected Date Ascending, or Expected Date Descending.
- Users can search by Patient Name, Email, Referred To, and Provider.
- Additional filters include Referring Location and Referred On.

- Additionally, it includes Referral Status, Referred by, Referred To, Referred On, and Expected Return Date.

Create New Referral

- Click Create new Referral.
- In the Create New Referral slide-out that appears, enter the mandatory details such as Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Phone Number, and Preferred Tx Location (Preferred Treatment Location).
- The Treatment Location dropdown includes the combination of all the locations in the different accounts to which the provider has access.
- Additionally, enter the information such as Email ID, Preferred Tx Provider (Preferred Treatment Provider), Procedure Type, Reason For referral, Expected Return Date and Radiographs or Clinical Photos.
- Click Create.
- Once a new referral is created, it will be available in the Outgoing Referrals tab for the Referral Provider and the Referral Hub for the Provider in CareStack.
Edit the Details of Referral Provider

Referral Provider from the portal can make changes to the basic details they have. To edit the details,
- Click the Provider name.
- Click Edit Details.
In the Edit Referral Provider modal that appears,
- Referral Providers can edit the fields such as Name, Date of Birth, Gender, and Phone No.
- Click Save Details.
- A toast notification will appear on the top right, stating 'Referral Provider updated successfully.'
