Since Iris is a web-based application, we will need to adjust both the browser and system settings as well as the configuration within CareStack to enable notification sounds for Iris messages.
Access Iris Settings

To access the Iris Settings from the dashboard, perform the steps below.
- Click on the Iris icon on the top right.
- Click on Settings at the bottom left.
- Click Edit.
- Select Yes for Enable Push Notifications and Enable Notification Sound.
- Click Save.
Enable Notifications in Google Chrome

You need to make sure that the settings in your browser are enabled to allow notifications. Perform the steps below.
- Click on the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of Google Chrome.
- Navigate to Settings.
In Privacy and security, navigate to Site settings.
- Click on Notifications under the Permissions section.
- Scroll down to locate Allowed to send notifications section.
- Click Add.
- Add the URL present in the IRIS window.
- Click Add.
Enable Pop-ups and Redirects in Google Chrome
To enable pop-ups on Chrome, perform the steps below.
- Locate and click the Pop-ups and redirects option under the Content section.
- Click the Add button corresponding to the 'Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects' option.
Add the URL present in the IRIS window.
- Click Add.
