When you complete any Procedure Code(s) that have a Membership Discount associated with them, whether it is a 100% discount due to the included benefits or a percentage or dollar amount discount due to the ADA code category discounts or custom code category discounts, you will see a Membership Credit.
| Note: Membership Credits (discounts) are auto-populated with the Procedure Code in the patient ledger. |
View Membership Discounts on the Ledger
Perform the steps below to view the membership discounts on the ledger.
- Select the patient from the Global Patient Search Bar.
- Hover over Billing > select Ledger.
- Locate All Transactions.
- Let us consider a scenario in which two Procedure Codes were completed, and each of them, upon completion, automatically had a Membership Credit completed along with it.
- Locate the same procedure codes on the ledger and find separate Patient Receipts below the completed procedure codes as Membership Credits.
- Click on the completed Procedure Code(s) from the ledger to open the CodeStack.
- Under the Fee Details section, you can see the Membership Discounts, and the impacted patient's Net Fee that they owe for that Procedure Code.
| Note: The patient's premiums are not shown on the ledger; they are housed in the membership portal under the "All Transactions" tab. |
Tip: You can search for a patient by entering their name in the member column and view all/successful transactions. The list is exportable to CSV for record-keeping. |
