Patient Alerts are incredibly useful for you and your staff to recall vital patient information. Let's walk you through the steps to quickly create and edit patient alerts.

To get started.
- Select the patient using the Global Search bar.
- Select Patient Alert on the left panel.
Click Add Alert on the top right.
On the Add Alert modal that appears, enter the required information:
- Content: Enter the message.
- Priority: Select the priority as Low, Medium, High, or Critical.
- Level: Select whether this alert should appear for the patient only or for all account members.
- Patient: Confirm the patients' names that should have this alert appear on their profile.
- Select your Start Date, then choose an End Date (or mark it as Indefinite).
- Alert Touchpoints: Choose the sections within the patient's profile where you want this message to display.
- Click Save.
- A toast notification will appear on the top right stating, 'Alert created successfully.'
- The alert will appear when you click the configured touchpoint.
To Snooze or Delete the alert
- Select the desired Alert(s).
- Click Snooze or Delete, as needed.
| Tip: To snooze a notification indefinitely, select Always from the drop-down. |
| Note: When an alert is snoozed, it is hidden only for the user who snoozed it. When an alert is deleted, it gets deleted for all users. |
To View/Edit the alerts,
Click Manage Alerts,
- In the Alerts slide-out, you can view the following columns: Alert Level, Alert Content, Alert Touchpoints, Priority, Start Date, End Date, Snoozed Until (in twelve hour format) , Last Updated by, Last Updated On.
- If an alert is snoozed by the user, the corresponding Alert Level column will display a Snoozed pill.
To edit the Alerts,
- Click Edit.
- Update details as required.
- Modify the Alert Touchpoints to determine the sections in which the patient alert should show up.
- Click Save.
- A toast notification will appear on the top right stating, 'Alert updated successfully.'
