An explosion code is a set of treatments that are commonly performed together and can be added to the system as a group. When you use an explosion code, it includes all the related individual procedure codes and conditions that have been clubbed together. This feature helps streamline treatment planning and scheduling processes by allowing you to add multiple related procedures at once.

View All Explosion Codes
To view all explosion codes:
- Navigate to System Menu > Practice Settings > Codes > Explosion Codes.
- Here you can search for the intended explosion codes.
- Click the Sort By drop-down menu to sort the explosion codes by Date Modified or Name.
Add New Explosion Code
To add a new explosion code, perform the steps below.
- Navigate to System Menu > Practice Settings > Codes > Explosion Codes.
- Click +Add New Explosion Code.
- Enter Name and Description.
- For adding codes to the explosion group, select the Code tab.
- Select the required codes from the Available Codes list and click the '>' button to move them to the Selected Codes list.
| Note: For finding the intended codes, utilize the filters or select All, Dental, or Medical tabs to sort the codes according to the type. |
- Similar to the codes, select the Conditions tab and move the required Conditions to the Selected Conditions.
- Click Save.
Edit an Explosion Code
To edit an existing explosion code, for example, if you want to add more codes to the explosion group, perform the steps below.
- Select the intended explosion code from the Explosion Codes page > click Edit.
Make the required changes such as change of Name or Description or adding or removing codes, etc > click Save.
