The Pending Signature Forms and Letters serve as a quick reference for providers to gauge their workload efficiently and duly address forms and letters pending the provider's signatures. Essentially, these help practices assess the clerical tasks involved, which might otherwise be overlooked, thus aiding clinical governance.

Let's explore the workflow within CareStack that lets you address the list of Patient Forms and Letters pending the Provider's Signature.
To access the list of Pending Signature Forms:
- Navigate to the Dashboard > Lists > Pending Signature Forms.
| Note: The same workflow applies but ensure to select Pending Signature Letters instead. |
- The list will appear empty as it is filtered by the location selected on the Dashboard for the logged-in provider.
- To view the list of all Patient Forms pending Provider Signature, click the 'X' button for Location and Provider.

The Pending Forms List provides information with filters for:
- Date the form was added
- Patient to whom it was added
- Document Name
- Document Type
- Location tagged to the form
- Provider assigned to the form
- User who added the form (Created By)
- If Providers are assigned, they will show under the Provider column; otherwise, it remains blank.
- Click on the desired Form on the List.
- Scroll to the bottom of the form.
- Select the Provider.
- Click Add Signature.
- Draw Signature and click Add.
- Click Save.
| Note: The Save as Draft option alone will be available when a witness or patient's signature is absent. |
| Note: Once the Provider Signature is in Saved or Draft status, that specific entry will be deleted from the list. |
Having pending signature forms and letters readily available helps practices manage all related data efficiently from one central location within the PMS. Without this feature, they would need to manually check each patient's file to determine pending tasks for form or letter completion.
