The Advanced Planner has a feature that allows users or dentists to add notes to a specific treatment plan to record information that was verbally communicated between the user and the patient.
This article explains two things: adding notes to a treatment plan and viewing plan history, including changes made to the treatment plan and codes added.
To add notes, perform the following steps:
- Select the patient using the Global Search Bar.
- Hover over Clinical > select Treatment Planner.
- Click +Note within a treatment plan.
On the Add Note modal:
- You can view previous notes, if any, under Notes Added with their time and date.
- Input the required notes within the given field.
- Click Add & Close.
- A toast notification will appear on the top right stating, 'Treatment Plan Note Added Successfully.'
- The notes icon will be visible on the treatment plan if a note is present for the same.
To view the history of changes in the treatment plan and the treatment codes used, follow these steps:
- Click Plan History within a treatment plan.
- You can see when the treatment plan was created towards the end of the slide-out.
Practices can use this simple guide to add notes to a treatment plan and view the plan history to stay updated.
